After the huge success of ‘Njan Prakashan’, there have been lot of talks about Sathyan Anthikad’s new film. While it was reported that he might team up with Jayaram for his next, the director has revealed that he is planning it with Mammootty. He revealed this in a recent public event organized by the government. Mammootty was also part of the function.
While addressing the gathering, Sathyan Anthikad was all praise of Mammootty for the kind of efforts he puts in for a character. He jokingly added about how restless Mammootty is before the start of shoot and how he continuously keeps asking questions about the character’s nature and his other details.
Sathyan Anthikad has done majority of his movies with Mohanlal and Jayaram. With Mammootty, has done only very films; ‘Sreedharante Onnaam Thirumurivu’, ‘Artham’ and ‘Kalikkalam’ to name a few. ‘Oral Mathram’, which got released in the year 1997, was their last film together. Though their new project is yet to be officially confirmed, it will be interesting to see them collaborate after such a long gap of over two decades.
